Solid Spruce Top & Mahogany Body

The Oracle Peace features a solid spruce top, which yields crisp articulation and a broad dynamic range. Spruce is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops as it generates a versatile sound and accommodates numerous playing styles, from aggressive to fingerpicking. The wood itself is quite elastic in nature, which resonates well whilst remaining strong, and provides a focused, clear sound of deep lows, warm midi-range, and bright sparkling highs. Its brightly toned solid spruce top is coupled with mahogany back and sides, which delivers a meaty mid-range, producing punchy, woody tones, with a rich distinct warmth that will please most playing styles.

Mahogany Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard

The Oracle Peace features a mahogany neck which provides players with plenty of resonance and durability. Its mahogany construction responds greatly to numerous styles and techniques with ease, and has become a favourite among guitar players for its rich and versatile playability. To provide a comfortable playing experience, the neck features a C shaped profile to offer a better grip. The neck is topped with rosewood fingerboard which produces a warm, bright, sparkling-sizzle that really shines through when using fingerpicking techniques. Its rosewood fingerboard also provides a smooth and energetic play and is sprinkled with Luna's exclusive mother of pearl moon phase inlays for added beauty.

Grand Concert Cutaway

The Luna Oracle Peace features a grand concert cutaway body shape, which offers clarity and a well-balanced sound within a compact and comfortable size. Its smaller body and nipped in waist make it an ideal guitar for both stage and studio performances. The grand concert is ideal for the more adventurous fingerstyle players, and was designed to keep overtones in check. In addition, the Oracle Peace also offers great projection, even through its unorthodox soundhole shape, which also provides a unique yet eye-catching aesthetic. To promote the access to upper fingerboard shredding, the Oracle Peace features a Venetian cutaway design, that allows players to reach more challenging chords with ease.

B-Band T35 Preamp

The Luna Oracle Peace comes equipped with a built-in B-Band preamp, which provides basic sound tweaking for live and rehearsal environments. The on-board preamp features rotary controls for bass, middle, treble, and volume, as well as providing a phase button for the prevention of undesired feedback. In addition to its great features, the T35 preamp also has a built-in chromatic tuner with an easy-readable, brightly-lit screen for easing tuning in the darkest of venues.

Luna History

Yvonne Villiers is an accomplished stained-glass artist who envisioned Luna guitars. Her inspiration for a line of guitars designed to maximise playing comfort came from her mother, Hilda Villiers, a bassist for over 40 years. Whilst watching her mum on stage, Yvonne couldn't help but notice the massive struggle her mum had whilst playing. With her mum being petite and using such a heavy instrument, she used to complain of how hard it was to be a woman and try to play these big bass guitars.

Yvonne then questioned if there were others like her mum that struggled with the same problems and pains. She came up with the idea of a woman specific guitar, uniquely tailored to fit their bodies, their hands, and their musical styles. Yvonne moved on to created Luna guitars, a line of guitars made for female musicians of all ages and crafted with luminous visual beauty to engage women's minds and spirits along with their talent.

Yvonne already had brilliant artistic skills and use of colour, she then applied the same techniques as she did with her award winning stained glass work to her new line of guitars. She is known for using rich colours that shimmer and shine with every movement providing an eye-catching design along with the great musical tones Luna guitars deliver. Yvonne's design expertise has led so many men to respond to Luna's well-crafted, spirit-engaging instruments that the company now creates guitars for both female and male musicians of all ages.
