Introducing… The Gear4Music Podcast!

23/06/2023

Here at Gear4Music, we want to make sure that buying musical equipment is accessible to everyone, no matter your budget.

Not only that, but we also want to provide you with the resources to help you learn more about practising, performing, using equipment, and buying the correct gear. And now, we want to make sure you have direct advice and knowledge from the pros that bring your favourite music and brands to life. That’s why we’ve started the Gear4Music Podcast.

What’s it all about?

We’ll be talking to professionals across the industry, finding out how they got to where they are today and what advice they can give to someone who’s looking to explore a career in music, podcasting, and the like. Plus, we’ll be having a great chat about the things we love like music, guitars, drums, production, recording, live performance, and so much more.

The podcast will be sponsored by Shure Microphones, so you can be sure that the quality of the audio will be top-notch. In fact, we’ll be using the iconic SM7B and MV7 microphones which are standards for podcasting.

Our first episode of the Gear4music Podcast features the incredibly talented Adam Buxton. Adam met up with us at the Podcast Show 2023 and talked to us about his upcoming full-length album. We also discussed his super popular podcast, The Adam Buxton Podcast. Adam delved into how he creates this podcast and gave us advice on what to do when starting your own.
