Now, let’s break down each kit even further…
VISIONDRUM
Size
The VISIONDRUM Compact Electronic Drum Kit is a 7-piece electronic kit, perfectly suited to both children and adults new to the world of drumming.
With no pre-determined height configurations, the VISIONDRUM kit can be set up as high or as low as you like (the rack’s maximum height is 77cm), allowing virtually any player to feel comfortable behind the kit.
Its compact, fold-away design and easy installation make the kit a real asset for bedroom practice where space is limited.
Pads
Designed to play and feel like an acoustic kit, all VISIONDRUM pads are made from mesh. Not only does this add realism when playing, it allows you to have fun practising and performing for extended periods, without disturbing family and friends.
Unlike other kits at this price point, the VISIONDRUM’s rubber cymbals offer a 360-degree trigger response, meaning they can be hit at any point and will always produce sound. Both features make the kit a great starting point for those who want a fun, engaging introduction to the world of drumming.
Sounds/module
The VISIONDRUM kit offers great variety in the form of 12 handpicked kits taken from Gear4music’s DD500 series and 10 play-along songs. With genres ranging from funk to pop and gospel to rock, each kit was chosen for its versatility, ensuring you have an authentic drum sound to suit any occasion.
The VISIONDRUM’s versatile connectivity expands on its already impressive capabilities. You can turn it into a MIDI controller, as well as connect headphones, monitors, smartphones, and more.
It comes with a stool, drumsticks, and headphones – everything a beginner needs to get started straight out of the box. Better still, the VISIONDRUM is also available as part of a drum/amp bundle.
VISIONDRUM+
Size
The VISIONDRUM+ features a larger rack than the VISIONRUM kit, extendable to 85cm. This makes it more comfortable for adult beginners, whilst still offering the smaller rack size options for younger players.
Not only can the height of the kit be adjusted to suit any player, but its footprint can also be greatly reduced. This means the kit does not have to be a permanent addition to your home and can easily be set up and packed down as and when required.
Pads
All VISIONDRUM+ pads are made from mesh, including the kick drum pad. Plus, the hi-hat and kick drum pedals are full-length, providing further authenticity and playing comfort.
The mesh kick drum trigger pad further enhances the playing experience of the VISIONDRUM+. With the full-size kick pedal, you can practise certain techniques that are near-impossible to do on a standalone pedal, such as heel-toe.
Sounds/module
The VISIONDRUM+ Electronic Drum Kit features the same 12 handpicked kits from the VISIONDRUM kit with 10 play-along songs. This time, however, the VISIONDRUM+ features 68 individual voices to choose from.
Again, it’s available with a stool, headphones, and drumsticks; and it’s available with an amp, too.
VISIONDRUM-PRO
Size
The VISIONDRUM-PRO features the same rack size as seen on the VISIONDRUM+ kit. This 85cm maximum height is great for adult beginners, and there’s still the same level of playing control provided by the original VISIONDRUM – perfect for players of any age.
Pads
The VISIONDRUM-PRO pads are all made from mesh, including the kick drum pad. The PRO also features a larger snare of 8″ and a floor tom pad that’s 1’’ larger than the other tom pads, providing a more authentic playing experience and aesthetic.
There’s also a 10’’ ride cymbal pad (2″ larger than the other cymbal pads) for added versatility that feels just like an acoustic kit.
In addition to this, the hi-hat and kick drum pedals are full-length, providing further authenticity and playing comfort.
Sounds/module
The VISIONDRUM-PRO has Bluetooth audio, allowing you to connect your smartphone or tablet to the kit’s module and play along with your favourite songs. Or you could listen to a tutorial video from YouTube to guide you through your playing!
This audio’s volume can then be adjusted directly on the module, so you don’t have to keep grabbing your device during practice. Even better, the new module for the PRO kit includes 72 voices, giving you more creative freedom to play in many different music styles.
The VISIONDRUM-PRO is available in a standard pack with a stool, headphones, and drumsticks, or as part of a drum/amp bundle.
