With a 7-ply shell and 45-degree bearing edge, the snare produces cutting tones with a full-bodied attack and quick decay. Premier's contemporary 610 snare mechanism offers a quick-release feature, allowing you to change the drum head without altering the tension settings, guaranteeing your perfected sound once the drum head is replaced.
The Genista 100SE boasts impressive aesthetics with its eye-catching lacquered tri-band finish, amongst this finish, is the definitive "P" badge, an emblem of quality, thanks to the return of the original chrome mount badge plinth. The 100SE snare also includes Remo UT drum heads.

The original Genista kits are renowned in the drumming world for their exceptional performance, sonic quality, and timeless look. The Genista was the first unsupported birch shell to be produced by Premier, offering a classic sound that continues to be admired by all drummers.
The birch build when paired with a distinctive tension lug construction sees Premier return to one of its most revered drum designs. All Genista shells are also precision cut and feature a 45-degree bearing edge which helps to further increase attack, resonance and sustain for optimum sound performance.
