The Surdo is a large bass drum used in many kinds of Brazilian music, but primarily in Samba, where it plays the lower parts of the percussion section. This WHD Surdo from Gear4music is constructed of lightweight aluminium with a polished finish, with aluminium rims and tunable top and bottom heads. This great quality drum comes as a complete package with a leather shoulder strap and a Surdo beater.

The 20" Aluminium Surdo is perfect for playing the Primiera (first) Surdo parts in Samba ensembles.
