Constructed with mahogany back and sides, the AXS Exotic A/E lacewood produces a well-rounded tone with a distinct warmness and dynamic quality not found in other tone woods. With a detailed emphasis on the mid-range, mahogany produces a punchy tone whilst retaining clear highs. Additionally, the select lacewood top combined with the mahogany body helps to bring out a tight and bright sound perfect for producing a full bodied tone with plenty of clarity.
The AXS Exotic A/E lacewood features a versatile DMT Designed preamp and pickup system which allows you to connect directly to amplifiers, PA systems, and DI outputs to amplify its natural tone. Without the need to mic up the guitar's sound hole, the instrument and its electronic system allow you to deliver a larger amount of stage presence whilst the on board 3-band EQ gives tone shaping options to optimize your perfect tone before it even reaches the PA.
