The mkIII version features a range of upgrades to deliver the ultimate performance. Even with its compact design, the Dynaudio BM5 mkIII offers a higher SPL level and power response than its predecessor and many other larger monitors. The mkIII also features a broader frequency range and more power, allowing you to hear each frequency clearly.
Frequency Boost/Cut Switches
The Dynaudio BM5 is designed to produce accurate audio, allowing you to hear all the frequencies clearly so you can create clean, punchy, and professional mixes and masters. The Dynaudio BM5 provides you with fine tune controls that allow you to tailor the frequency response to perfectly suit the room you are in. The BM5 monitor is equipped with low frequency, mid frequency, and high frequency switches that allow you to boost or cut in order to keep a flat and accurate frequency response. The switches allow you to compensate for frequencies that may stand out too much when you monitor is placed on shelves, tables, or at varying distances between walls. This makes sure you are hearing accurate audio, not muffled by unwanted and amplified frequencies.

The hand-crafted drivers feature aluminium voice coils for the best possible signal quality, ensuring a quick and accurate transient response. The drivers themselves feature a double neodymium magnet system with vented pol piece for accurate control, while the voice coil surrounds the magnet for maximum linearity. Its ultra-wide frequency range (42Hz-24kHz) allows you to hear every nuance of the original audio as it was intended, ideal for mixing and mastering applications.
Design & Construction
The extended excursion 7'' woofer and 1.1'' soft dome tweeter work together to deliver the best possible audio performance, each featuring 50W of power and driven by the hand-crafted drivers to offer the best performance possible. This retains your audio's natural harmonic qualities while accentuating the low and high frequency bands for added clarity.
