The ENGL Fireball features a beautiful clean channel and a ferocious lead channel, with gain and presence controls to create an incredible range of metal ready tones. Its bright switch helps boost the amp's higher frequencies to creating crystal clears or crispy, crunching notes, while engaging the depth switch helps add a low-end punch to the overall tone. Switching on the amp’s ultra-gain will make the input stage extremely sensitive, saturating the tone to create an incredibly heavy lead sound ideal for solos and power chords. Equipped with 6L6GC and ECC83 tubes powered by 60 watts of pure sonic punch, the ENGL Fireball can deliver incredible tonal fury while offering plenty of headroom to allow the tubes to sing in any setting. The amp is also equipped with a power tube monitoring system, ensuing the tubes work efficiently and allowing players to focus more on their playing.
The amp features a range of ins/outs to improve the playing experience, with footswitch capabilities for remote control over the amp’s functions and removing the need return to your time amp during performances. Connecting a footswitch will provide control over the amp’s ultra-gain function, or be used to switch between the two master volumes. The addition of an FX loops allows players to connect their favourite stompboxes and pedalboards, with a balanced control to adjust the level the effects unit influences the amp.
