Equipped with a pair of ESP Soapbar pickups in the bridge and neck position, the LTD B-4E bass deliveres versatile and powerful tones. Players can also benefit from the ABQ-3 3-Band EQ which allows easy tonal shaping at the turn of a dial.
Mahogany Body With Ebony Top
The B-4E features an B-Series body, with a single cutaway for easier access to the higher frets. The mahogany body provides the sound with warmth and resonance, as well as good bite and sustain. The mahogany features an ebony top, which offers snappy attack as well as clear, defined tones.
Natural Appearance
The tonewoods and the natural finish of the B-4E give it a striking appearance. As there is a beautiful contrast between the warm brown of the mahogany body and the deep, darkness of the ebony. The neck through 5-piece maple/mahogany offers a striped effect, while the satin finish allows the natural tonewood colours to shine through.
