Key Features
Product Ref: 286220
The GRG7221 features a bolt-on maple neck with a sculpted heel for easy access to the higher frets to offer an effortless playability. The thin GRG neck profile is optimised for speed and resonance, making it perfect for rhythm and lead playing.
The Ibanez GRG7221 incorporates a hardtail F107 bridge with a string-thru body construction to provide improved tonality and sustain. It leads to a richer and more impactful sound by transferring vibrations and resonance from the strings to the body, resulting in more harmonic content flowing through to the Infinity R humbuckers. On top of this, your intonation will be kept on point thanks to its tight string grip and super simple adjustment access.
Designed with two powerful Ibanez Infinity R humbuckers, the GRG7221 delivers a high output tone with plenty of power and clarity, perfect for playing rock and metal. Additionally, the passive circuitry and ceramic magnets allow the Infinity R humbuckers to deliver detailed dynamics and bright overtones with excellent note separation.
What do electric guitarists do the most? Plug and unplug their guitars! A lot of entry level models have a nut surrounding the output jack which can easily loosen due to the frequent stress of inserting and removing cables. Ibanez have eliminated this maintenance nuisance with their mono-unit output jack, which is made from a durable and single piece of material that prevents contact failures and reduces long-term maintenance for your guitar.
