Exotic Body

The RG652LWFX is part of Ibanez's Prestige family, and is made in Japan using three principles, including precision, performance, and playability. The RG652LWFX features a basswood body, mounted with limbo top for an exotic appearance that will stand out from any crowd. Players will love the elegant contours, that provide a comfortable performance, ideal for any level. In addition, a double cutaway design offers easier access to the higher frets and flexibility across the whole rosewood fingerboard.

Smooth Neck Profile

The Ibanez RG652LWFX is equipped with a 5-piece neck made up maple and walnut. This combination of tonewoods provides iron-like strength for enhanced neck stability and a longer sustain, that will not warp over time. The use of Ibanez's own Super Wizard HP neck profile makes the RG652LWFX Prestige Electric Guitar extremely playable and optimised for lead guitarists. The nature of this thinner neck helps to perform swift and nimble guitar runs seamlessly whilst retaining enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords, for a smooth performance. A bound marbled rosewood fingerboard is also included, mounted with jumbo stainless steel frets. For added playability, each fret is finished with Ibanez's prestige fret edge treatment, specially rounded for a smooth play and a comfortable neck.

Angled Headstock

Like many guitars from Ibanez, the RG652LWFX features an angled headstock, which not only provides a stylish appearance, but also offers better string pressure. By increasing the string pressure on the strings, it helps them stay in the nut slots, and decreases loss of string vibration between the nut and the tuners for better sustain and smooth playability.

DiMarzio Pickups

No electric guitar would be complete without a set of high-quality pickups and controls. The RG652LWFX is equipped with a duo of DiMarzio pickups including Air Norton on the neck, and The Tone Zone on the bridge. This combination of pickups delivers depth, warmth and rich dynamics, that can be easily controlled with the 5-way pickup switch.

Gibraltar Standard II Bridge

This stunning guitar also features a Gibraltar Standard II bridge, designed to join with the guitar's body and provide optimal transfer of each string's vibration, for enhanced resonance and sustain. Its smooth surface is also designed to maximize playing comfort and be unobtrusive.
