Constructed with a layered ash body, the Iron Label RGD offers a bright and shining tone thanks to the dense nature of the wood. The dense pores of the ash wood provide an impressive sustain as vibrations are not diffused by the wood. The layered ash body is combined with a stunning rosewood top to increase the bass response, adding bite and attack to the middle and high range. Finished in a natural lacquer to create the unique charcoal brown finish, the RGDIX6MRW is a fierce sounding 6 string guitar designed for aggressive playing styles.

Comfortable Nitro Wizard Neck

The use of Ibanez's own Nitro Wizard neck allows the Iron Label guitar to be extremely playable and optimised for lead guitarists. The thin nature of this neck helps to perform swift and nimble guitar runs seamlessly, whilst retaining enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords. Crafted from 3-piece maple and bubinga, the guitar's neck provides iron-like strength for enhanced neck stability and a strong sustain.

DiMarzio Fusion Edge Pickups

Players can achieve a classic metal tone with the two DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups, which were designed in a collaboration between Ibanez and DiMarzio. Located on the neck and bridge positions, these pickups produce a variety of overdriven textures, creating powerfully distinctive tones perfect for metal styles.

Gibraltar Standard Bridge

This stunning guitar also features a Gibraltar Standard II bridge, designed to join with the guitar's body and provide optimal transfer of each string's vibration for an enhanced resonance and sustain.
