The Ibanez Talman TMB100 is designed to give you a cool vintage appearance with a modern range of tones. Its body is based on a historic Ibanez shape and has a comfortable feel for practising and playing live on stage. It features modern pickups and EQ to give you "genre-hopping versatility" and should be great for those who are exploring new tunes and styles of music.
The TMB100 has a mahogany body alongside a maple neck which is a classic combination of quality woods to give you warmth and resonance. The rosewood fingerboard assists with sustain and provides a comfortable playing surface for the left hand. The body has a nicely contoured shape to allow long practice sessions sat down, but also looks good for when performing on stage. The asymmetric cutaway body shape allows easy access to the top of the fingerboard, whilst the glossed neck provides a vintage feel for the left hand.
The TMB100 features Dynamix pickups and a 2-band EQ for further sculpting of your tone. The bridge pickup is a modern bar-design made for brighter sounds whilst the neck pickup is a split-coil design and will provide you with the more vintage-based sounds. Here is an instrument which will allow you to experiment with a wide range of tones to find your signature sound or to explore new genres of music.
Over the past 30 years, Ibanez Guitars have always been at the forefront of developing the right tools for electric guitar players pushing the boundaries of music. For decades, Ibanez designers and luthiers have been the embodiment of this ideology, pushing their skills to the edge of imagination, consistently creating some of the most versatile and unique instruments ever. Although Ibanez guitars have been made since 1908, it wasn't until the late 1980s that they began to form an identity for themselves when artists such as Steve Vai and Frank Zappa began using their instruments. Now with a huge artist clientele across the globe, Ibanez are a leading manufacturer of electric guitars and basses and a first choice for many dedicated musicians.
