The Abbey Chamber Verb has been designed to mimic the sounds that are captured in echo room chambers. These chambers were built to capture the beautiful sounds in churches and music halls, but also featured electronic filters to carefully refine the sounds for an impeccable end sound. Keeley’s pedal incorporates the RS106 filter which has a 600hz high pass filter and a 10khz low pass filter for a tight and defined sound.
Controls for Enhancing Your Sound
Keeley’s Reverb Pedal features 4 different controls to enhance and shape your sound. The Decay knob would change the length of the reverb, depending on what sound you were going for. The pr-delay knob can be used to match the classic sounds from vintage recordings, offering extremely fast doubling in the pedals reverb or offer a slapback type of sound.
The Brilliance knob offers the same types of tools to filter and fine tune the reverb, allowing for a soft reverb, a deep and sublime reflection, bright and reflective ambience, or whatever you desire. The Blend knob controls how much the reverb will affect your sound, giving you the ability to choose how much you desire.
