The Boss AD-10 Acoustic Preamp is unlike other preamps that only capture the sound from the bridge area of your electro acoustic guitar, the Boss AD-10 uses advanced Acoustic Resonance technology that analyses your pickup signal and delivers the full acoustic sound as it was meant to be heard. This is ideal for both live performances and recording, as you can deliver the best sound possible.
The Boss AD-10 Acoustic Preamp is equipped with two channels, perfect for when two guitars are needed. Each channel features independent EQ for tonal shaping, and accommodates different pickup types. In addition, the EQ settings feature four bands, along with a variable low-cut filter for added control.
The Boss AD-10 is also equipped with a full host of onboard effects that have been especially designed for electro-acoustic guitars. These include; ambience, delay, and chorus effects with multiple sound types and adjustable parameters. If that's not enough, players can also benefit from three types of reverb, especially tuned for acoustic guitar. As well as effects, the AD-10 also features an onboard looper, memory presets and a built-in tuner.
The Boss AD-10 Acoustic Preamp is great for live performances or studio sessions, as it is complete with an XLR input for direct connectivity to PA systems. As well as this, a stereo ¼-inch jack is also included and allows you to connect to an amp or to headphones. The USB audio interface gives you the ability to connect to computers for studio recording and more.
