Key Features
Product Ref: 125510
Loaded with two DMT Designed humbucking pickups in the bridge and neck position, the Razorback Dimebag delivers a raw and punchy tone with plenty of bottom end and screaming highs. They provide the power and focus required in rock and metal music.
The Razorback Dimebag features a warm-sounding and resonant mahogany body, comfortably bevelled despite its extreme appearance. Featuring a Mech graphic design, it is clearly built to make a lasting impression on stage. The body offers easy access to the top frets of the guitar allowing for the high-octane soloing style the Darrell was known for.
The Razorback features a double locking tremolo system which allows for the most extreme of whammy-bar effects, everything from mild tremolo through to dive-bombs. Its locking design ensures that the strings will reliably return to pitch after use, guaranteeing stage reliability and tuning stability.
Born in 1966, Dimebag Darrell (Darrell Lance Abbott) is best known for his songwriting and performing in the iconic metal band Pantera. With an extremely unique playing style and signature tone Dimebag fast became a rising star in the metal world and gained an endorsement with Dean Guitars in the 1980s. Having co-designed the now legendary Dean Razorback just months before his death in 2004 Dimebag Darrell has forever earned his place in metal history with his unique playing style and range of impressive guitar finishes.
