The E-II Horizon’s body is crafted from mahogany and features a quilted maple top, enhancing the guitar's natural brightness and creating a unique aesthetic. The mahogany tonewood delivers a soft tone, with plenty of grind and bite to keep it well-balanced and create plenty of depth. The guitar’s appealing high end and full, tight low end ensures the overall tonality remains thick and firm, offering plenty of dynamics to accommodate a variety of musical styles. The body is finished in see-through reindeer blue with black hardware, creating a visually stunning and eye-catching appearance.
The ESP E-II Guitar is equipped with a 3piece maple neck and ebony fingerboard, delivering warm, bright tones with plenty of depth and dynamics. The maple offers roundness to the tone, providing bright characteristics and an excellent amount of sustain. The addition of an ebony fingerboard helps to tighten up the neck’s tone, giving it a defined feel, excellent clarity, and a fast attack. The maple and ebony combination creates a sparkling, sizzling high end, a muscular controlled bass response, and a snappy midrange with extra presence in the lower mids.
The ESP E-II guitar is equipped with a jazz neck humbucker and a custom 5 bridge humbucker, delivering loud, bright tones which remain clear even under extreme distortion. The jazz neck offers an extremely versatile vintage-output, producing a glassy treble response with a tight, full bass. The custom 5 humbucker offers a high output tone with an even bass and treble response, making it perfect for a wide range of musical styles.
Also equipped with a push/push pickup coil tap, the ESP E-II guitar offers a huge amount of tonal options to choose from, ensuring players can deliver the perfect sound for most situations. This function allows players to switch the pickup settings from a standard humbucking mode to a single coil, making it an extremely versatile guitar ideal for live situations when an array of tones are required.
For many years Floyd Rose has been the leading manufacturer and designer of floating, locking tremolos. With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years, the Floyd Rose Original locking tremolo allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch with the removable whammy bar to create unique sounds such as dive bombs. Unlike non-locking tremolo's, the Floyd Rose bridge can make huge changes in pitch but still retain the initial tuning via the locking nut at the end of the headstock.
The guitar is finished off with high-end hardware to ensure players receive the best playing experience possible. The Gotoh locking tuners improve tuning stability and reduces string slippage, while the Schaller straplocks protect against accidental strap release, ensuring players can deliver a powerful performance without worrying about dropping their guitar.
