Key Features
Product Ref: 95057
The AJ1 guitar features a pair of Active EMG 66/57 pickups, which are favoured by many professional musicians due to their immense versatility. The 66 at the neck produces a warm and crisp sound with plenty of depth, while the 57 at the bridge position produces a full and defined sound with great punch.
The AJ1 features a double cutaway body crafted from mahogany, which offers a rich and full tone with plenty of resonance, as well as comfortable playability. The mahogany body has a classic black satin finish with striking white binding for added elegance. The 3-piece maple neck is more resistant to warping than a classic 1-piece. The maple delivers a bright and twangy tone with good clarity, while the rosewood brings a soft, articulate character to the overall sound.
The innovative Locking Tune-O-Matic bridge is manufactured with high tension springs which are fitted into the stable attachments. The bridge clips and locks into place reliably, which means you don't need to worry losing tuning during a performance. The Tune-O-Matic Bridge and LTD Locking tuners provide excellent intonation and stable tuning.
The ESP LTD AJ1 incorporates a string-thru body construction which provides improved tonality and sustain. It does this by transferring vibrations and resonance from the strings, over the Tune-O-Matic bridge and through the body.
