Mahogany Body and Maple Neck

The M-400 features a Mahogany body with a bolted on Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard to deliver a guitar with an incredibly smooth play that’s perfect for playing rock and metal. The Mahogany body gives the LTD a soft, warm tone that has plenty of depth, producing grind and bite where needed to keep everything balanced. The guitar’s body has a full low end that’s tight and appealing highs. Its Maple neck gives the guitars tone added tightness and cut to brighten up the sound, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard smooths out the tone to give it sweetness and warmth. The ESP’s neck and fingerboard brings sparkling sizzle to the highs, thickness and firmness to the lows, and openness to the mids, giving them a snappy attack.

EMG 85/81 Humbuckers

Equipped with an EMG 85 humbucker and an EMG 81 humbucker, The LTD produces ferocious tones that are incredibly versatile. The EMG 85 humbucker is set at the neck and provides an exceptionally powerful tone that offer an array of sounds. With its close aperture coils and alnico 5 magnets to provide a muscular growl, the pickup can produce soothing lead tones. The EMG 81 is set at the bridge and features close aperture coils and powerful ceramic magnets to deliver a tone designed with detailed intensity. The 81 humbucker offers a fluid sustain that allows leads to slice through any mix and has an incredible amount of high end cut.

Floyd Rose Special Bridge

Floyd Rose are one of the leading manufacturers of guitar bridges, using top of the range design techniques to craft outstanding quality parts. The Floyd Rose special bridge uses zinc and steel to create a bridge that can adjust string tension in seconds, creating incredible pitch bends and dive bombs. The Bridge works in tangent with the locking nut for increase string stability and prevents the strings from detune.
