Lightweight Alder Body

The ESP LTD ORION-5 features a lightweight alder body, offering a resonant tone with comfortable playability. The double cutaway design allows easier access to the higher frets, and a versatile choice of hand positions.

Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound J5 Pickups

The ORION-5 bass is equipped with a set of Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound J5 Pickups, located in the neck and bridge positions. Each pickup features quarter-inch alnico pole piece magnets, producing a full response with superb string sensitivity. Players can easily tweak their tone using the onboard Seymour Duncan Blackouts 2-Band Stacked Preamp with switchable treble frequency, as well as master volume and balance control.

Tomasz Wróblewski (known best ar Orion) is a Polish metal musician, and the bassist and backing vocalist for metal band Behemoth. Born in Warsaw, Poland, Tomasz has spent most of music career in various metal bands, and has gained worldwide success for his heavy, fast styles.
