The ESP LTD V-407 Baritone Electric Guitar features a mahogany body which offers a rich and resonant sound ideal heavier styles of music. The rosewood fingerboard and maple neck are a popular electric guitar pairing, as the brightness of the maple is softened by the rosewood for a tone with great depth. The longer scale, baritone neck provides a deeper tone with darker qualities as it offers excellent string tension for lower tuning. Pair of EMG Pickups

The pair of high output EMG Pickups consist of an EMG 81-7 in the bridge position and an EMG 707 in the neck. The ESP LTD V-407 delivers a sharp attack and a beefy rhythm tones when in the 81-7 bridge position and a warm and dynamic tonality when in the 707 neck position. The EMG 81 produces an incredibly intense sound, with plenty of high end cut. For an exceptional pickup combination, this LTD V Series Guitar also features an EMG 707 at the neck, which is an excellent 7-string pickup.

V Body Crafted From Mahogany

The V-407 features a V shape mahogany body which offers easier access to the higher frets, as well as giving it a classic metal appearance. The mahogany body provides the sound with warmth and resonance, as well as good bite and sustain. The mahogany features a maple cap for added brightness, clarity and overall a fuller sound. The V body features a classic black finish, flag inlays and black hardware for the ultimate metal look.

Maple Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard

The ESP LTD V-407 features a 3-piece maple neck which is more resistant to warping than classic 1 piece necks. Maple offers a bright and clear tone with sweet sustain, while the rosewood fingerboard brings warmth, articulation and richness to soften the sound. The advantage of seven strings offer more sonic possibilities for ultimate fast shredding.

Excellent Hardware

The hardware of the V-407 is reliable and efficient, and includes a Tune-O-Matic Bridge and Grover Tuners. The Tune-O-Matic Bridge offers excellent levels of sustain and stability, while the Grover Tuners work efficiently to keep your tone locked in tune all night.
