Mahogany Body

Like others from ESP, the VOLSUNG is crafted from mahogany, delivering warm, balanced tone with an excellent bass response. A classic, double cutaway is also included and allows players to reach the higher frets with ease. Finally, this Lars Frederiksen signature guitar is finished off with distressed black satin for added elegance.

Signature Tone

Players can easily achieve those same iconic tones that Lars is best known for with the pair of Seymour Duncan Lars Signature pickups. This powerful pair deliver a high output, perfect for playing punk styles like Rancid. Both pickups can be controlled using the volume and tone knobs, as well as the toggle switch.

Tonepros Locking Tune-O-Matic Bridge & Tailpiece

The Lars Frederiksen Signature Guitar features the popular Tonepros Tune-O-Matic bridge, also known as a TOM bridge. Complete with tailpiece, this TOM bridge is especially designed to deliver superb sustain, thanks to it innovative patented design. With this bridge, each string can be intonated individually, for the best tone possible.

About Lars Frederiksen

Lars Frederiksen is a Danish-American musician, known best as the guitarist and vocalist for punk band Rancid. Over the past few decades, Lars has been involved in the underground music scene, working with a variety of upcoming bands. After using ESP guitars for many years, Lars has designed his own signature model, based on the Viper.
