The Signature ESP RZK-II guitar wields a pair of powerful EMG 81 humbucking pickups to provide a punchy and thick tonality when in the bridge position, and a warm, sharp tone in the neck position. Constructed from close aperture coils and featuring ceramic magnets, the iconic EMG 81 humbucking pickups provide advanced detail and a truly meaty tone. Crafted With a Solid Alder Body

Alder is favoured by most players for its incredibly balanced tone, offering the perfect dynamic range to suit most musical styles. The alder body is perfect for playing a wide range of musical styles, with its excellent sustain and resonance ensuring each note is heard. Its bright, sizzling highs, rounded lows, and beefy midrange sets up the foundation of the guitar's overall tone, allowing players to achieve the perfect sounds for most playing styles.

Maple Neck-Through Construction

This Signature Richard Z. Kruspe guitar features a 3-piece maple neck that provides excellent durability, and is more resistant to warping than classic 1-piece necks. Its extra-thin U-shaped profile is perfect for quick shredding, allowing players to easily reach across the entire fingerboard without losing any comfort. The maple offers beautifully bright tones, with searing highs and strong mids for a dynamic performance. The rosewood fingerboard enhances the overall tone with a warm character, opening the mids up to create articulated harmonics. The neck-through construction provides an advanced sustain and resonance by optimising the maximum contact between the neck and body joint.

Premium Hardware

For many years Floyd Rose has been the leading manufacturer and designer of floating, locking tremolos. With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years, the Floyd Rose Original locking tremolo allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch with the removable whammy bar to create unique sounds such as dive bombs. Unlike non-locking tremolos, the Floyd Rose bridge can make huge changes in pitch but still retain the initial tuning by addition of the locking nut at the end of the headstock. The Richard Z. Kruspe Signature also features Gotoh tuners, which are designed to improve tuning stability whilst reducing string slippage, delivering a truly quick and easy way to tune.

About Richard Z. Kruspe

Richard Zven Kruspe is a talented musician from Germany, known as the guitarist of the industrial band Rammstein and the frontman of Emigrate. Richard began learning the guitar after he bought his first in Czechoslovakia with the intention to sell it on for a profit, it was only when he met a girl at a campground that he became interested in playing. After that he spent years learning and perfecting his own playing style on his own, resulting in a combination of technical playing with pure aggression, and in 1989 formed the band Rammstein with fellow band members. Rammstein are known for their outrageous live performances which feature pyrotechnics and fire breathing, and this influenced the incredible design of this signature guitar.
