The Richie Faulkner Limited Edition signature model takes the classic Flying-V design and playability, and takes it to the next level with a fast-playing neck specification, powerful EMG pickups and a Floyd Rose double locking tremolo system. This is a guitar built to play high-octane styles of rock and metal, like that which English band Judas Priest create.

Solid Tonewoods & Fast Playability

A solid mahogany body gives the Richie Faulkner signature guitar a warm and resonant tonal base, with a deep-set mahogany neck providing effortless top-fret access. The ebony fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets for better purchase on the strings, making string bends and vibrato easier and more confident. The 12'' radius allows for a low-action to be setup for easy fingering and faster playing feel, while the shallow C neck profile combines the best of modern and vintage neck specifications to allow a comfortable yet fast playing experience. The neck is finished in satin to give a wonderfully smooth feel when you're whizzing up and down the ebony fingerboard.

EMG Pickups

EMG active humbuckers have long been the choice for the rock and metal musician requiring power and articulation, and the Richie Faulkner signature comes loaded with an EMG-66 in the neck position and an EMG-57 in the bridge position. Each pickup uses Alnico V magnets and steel pole pieces for a tonal range and quality reminiscent of the famous “PAF” style humbuckers, but with added headroom, punch, and definition. This provides access to classic rock tones alongside metal and blues sounds, complemented by the mahogany construction.

Hard-Wearing Hardware

A Floyd Rose double locking tremolo system features on the Richie Faulkner Signature Flying-V, with an "R2" locking nut for rock-solid tuning stability and reliable whammy bar use alongside full adjustability of intonation and action. Grover Rotomatic 18:1 ratio machine heads are also included to provide quick and accurate tuning.
