Fender's vintage noiseless single coils are a versatile set of bright, crisp and warm sounding pickups which deliver a balanced and smooth tone. Designed with Alnico 2 magnets, the vintage noiseless pickups provide fantastic clarity and definition whilst the complex harmonics add a unique flavour to the tone. Based on vintage single coil pickups, the noiseless single coils feature innovative, modern craftsmanship to deliver a fantastic vintage style single coil tone without the unwanted hum often associated with vintage single coils.
Featuring a unique TBX tone control, the Eric Clapton Signature Strat has the ability to shape and mould its tone like never before. The stacked 250k potentiometer runs without the aid of a battery and allows you to boost bass, treble presence and even output. To do this you simply turn the tone control past the 5 marker to start reducing resistance, thus adjusting and enhancing the tone.
Additionally, the active mid boost circuit can be used to enhance the middle frequencies of the guitar by to up to +25dB. Perfect for both clean and distortion tones, the mid boost adjusts from 0dB neutral mode right to +25dB to create some fantastic and unique sounds when combined with the TBX tone control.
Since 1987, the skilled craftsmen in Fender's Corona, California ''dream factory'' have been producing guitars that are known worldwide for their artistry and unrivalled quality. Ranging from the fine to the fantastic, whether it's building a new custom instrument from the ground up or modifying an existing one, their best is the best. These wonderful instruments have been crafted for, and with the input of, the world's finest guitarists such as Clapton, Springsteen, Cray, Gilmour, Townshend, Wilko Johnson and Stevie Ray Vaughan, to name just a few.
When many people think of an electric guitar, this is the one that leaps to mind. The Stratocaster is one of the world's most popular guitars, delivering an elegantly versatile creation that is both a musical and cultural touchstone. Not long after Fender revolutionised music with the Telecaster and the Precision Bass, in 1954 they debuted the Stratocaster and it quickly became universally regarded as the archetypal electric guitar. Sleek and stylish aesthetics, smooth playing and tonally versatile, at the heart the Stratocaster remains a fantastic instrument - producing unmistakable sound with a timeless design. A first choice among players worldwide, there is simply nothing that sings, screams, whispers, moans, roars, rocks and rolls like a Fender Stratocaster.
