This Custom Shop Postmodern NOS Stratocaster is equipped with a sparkling trio of Custom Shop hand-wound Fat '60s single-coil pickups (With a reverse-wound/reverse polarity middle pickup) with modern five-way switching and a special ''Tone-Saver'' treble-bleed network. This configuration helps to keep the tone consistent regardless of volume, ensuring no loss of highs when decreasing volume and providing versatility that is perfect for on stage or in the studio. Other premium features include a three-ply parchment pickguard, an American Vintage 6-saddle tremolo bridge, staggered tuning machines and Fender ''F'' logo engraved neck plate.

This Postmodern NOS - New Old Stock - model has been specially devised to capture the authenticity of the original-era instrument, and to look like a model from the past that hasn't aged at all -as if you went back in time and bought it brand new. This unique model comes complete with a nitrocellulose lacquer, as well as a black textured vinyl hardshell case.
