The Fender Aerodyne Stratocaster is made from lightweight basswood that allows for comfortable and effortless playability, with classic fender tones. The FSR Aerodyne Stratocaster's body profile is a specifically designed medium shape for ultimate playability, as well as featuring all the contours of a classic Stratocaster that is renowned across the world.
The slim ‘C’ maple neck offers a comfortably smooth play, delivering bright tones and adding tightness and cut to the guitar’s sound. The rosewood fingerboard helps to ‘fur up’ the maple’s natural tone, providing the Fender with sizzling highs, firm lows, and a snappy attack in the midrange. Gotoh tuners are used on the guitar, offering incredible tuning stability while also providing quick string changes.
The FRS Strat is equipped with a single Dragster BB humbucker and 2 standard high output single-coil pickups, delivering thundering tones with an excellent tonal range. Switch to the humbucker to create classic rock tones, or select either of the single coils to produce beautifully clean notes and everything in between. The addition of a tremolo bridge enhances the guitar's sonic expression and sustain, letting you create a range of pitch shifting effects to add incredible dynamics and expression to your playing style.
When many people think of an electric guitar, this is the one that leaps to mind. The Stratocaster is one of the world's most popular guitars and is a versatile creation. Not long after Fender revolutionised music with the Telecaster and the Precision Bass, in 1954 they debuted the Stratocaster and it quickly became universally regarded as the archetypal electric guitar. With sleek and stylish aesthetics, smooth playing and tonally versatile, the Stratocaster remains a fantastic instrument - producing unmistakable sound with a timeless design. A first choice among players worldwide, there is simply nothing that sings, screams, whispers, moans, roars, rocks and rolls like a Fender Stratocaster.
Fender Japan was established as a way for Fender to market their guitars to the Japanese, allowing for the creation of low cost Fender guitars that still possess the high expectations and build quality of their American counterparts. Japan is often considered to be one of the leading places in the world for guitar manufacturing, although most of the guitars produced are not sold in the UK, the FSR models allow you to purchase an exceptionally high quality and unique guitar.
