Constructed from a Ash body with bolt on Maple neck the Japan FSR Classic '70s Jazz Bass is lightweight and produces a thick and dynamic tone with plenty of balance and power thanks to the soft and light nature of the wood. Additionally the slim ''C'' shaped Maple neck provides smooth playability with a bright and punchy tone.
Featuring a carefully fitted synthetic bone nut the Japan FSR Classic '70s Jazz Bass delivers an increased resonance and brighter tonality. When compared to traditional plastic and Tusq materials used to construct guitar nuts, synthetic bone improves the vibration transfer between the string and tuning machines without dampening the tone.
Introduced in 1960, Fender welcomed a new decade by debuting a deluxe bass guitar, the Jazz Bass. Sleek and supercharged with dual pickups, a slim neck and a curvaceous offset waist, the Jazz Bass has ruled the world of electric bass ever since Fender first introduced it. The versatile and unmistakable tone, effortless feel and performance make the Jazz Bass the number-one choice for professional bassists worldwide.
