Mahogany Body & Figured Maple Top

Fender’s Troublemaker Telecaster features an eye-catching mahogany body topped with stunning figured maple, creating a unique and eye-catching aesthetic to make it stand out on any stage. Mahogany is a medium to heavy wood, creating a strong and sturdy design that will stand up to the gigging musician's lifestyle, while the maple top adds some extra bite to cut through any mix. This Limited-Edition Guitar is finished in a beautiful ice tea burst and a nitrocellulose lacquer, with its thin, porous, and delicate coating allowing the tonewoods to breath with their natural tonal character and resonance. The lacquer is also known to wear and age in a certain way that appeals to many players.

Deep ''C'' Maple Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard

This stunning and unique guitar is paired with a Deep ''C'' maple neck designed for comfort and speed, delivering an incredible performance suitable to a wide variety of playing styles. Unlike other neck profiles, the Deep ''C'' features more substantial shoulders which creates a natural feel in the player's hand, perfect for chords and single notes. The neck is coupled with a rosewood fingerboard to create warm, soft tones, while ‘furring up’ the maple’s harsh edges for a sizzling high end and an open midrange attack. The rosewood’s naturally oily surface allows any stray overtones to be absorbed into the pours, offering the LTD Tele with a natural fundamental tone.

Shawbucker Pickups

The LTD Troublemaker Tele features a set of powerful Shawbucker pickups, offering fat, saturated tones ideal for beefing up any performance and delivering a classic rock sound. Both pickups are voiced specifically for their set position, delivering vintage warmth, along with powerful, nuanced tones. Deliver squelching grunts and aggressive growls with the independent volume and tone controls, and use the toggle switch to receive the perfect sound for rhythm and lead sections.

Bone Nut

Along with its amazing tone and looks, the Fender Troublemaker also features a bone nut which adds to its classic aesthetic. The main purpose of using a bone nut, compared to modern materials, is the bone offers excellent resonance and sustain. A bone nut also delivers a very balanced tone, and will last a long time. In addition, this type of nut naturally self-lubricates and helps the guitar to stay in tune for longer.
