The Fender Ltd Ed Standard Strat has an Alder body and produces a resonant and balanced tone with plenty of clarity and body. Fender have used Alder as their tonewood of choice for electric guitars since the 1950's as the balanced response and slight upper middle definition makes it perfect for rock and blues playing. Paired with a ‘C’ shaped Maple neck the Standard Stratocaster offers effortless Fender playability and impressive sustain required by experienced musicians.
Housing three single coil pickups the FSR Standard Stratocaster can produce an array of premium tones for anything from jazz to hard rock. Featuring two Standard Strat single coils in the bridge and middle positions the FSR Stratocaster delivers rich, clear and dynamic tones whilst the Tex-Mex single coil in the neck offers an increased output, gritty gains and smooth, round clean tones.
Featuring a carefully fitted synthetic bone nut the FSR Standard Stratocaster delivers an increased resonance and brighter tonality. When compared to traditional plastic and Tusq guitar nuts, synthetic bone provides an improved vibration transfer between the string and tuning machines without dampening the tone.
The Stratocaster is still the guitar of choice for generations of guitarists. From the epic mastery of Pink Floyd's David Gilmour to Biffy Clyro's Simon Neil, this guitar will likely be present on many more historic songs to come. Legendary guitar players new and old will inevitably find themselves clutching one of these superior instruments before eager crowds performing classic tunes. Join the ranks of countless professional musicians who use premium Fender guitars in the studio and on the road, day after day.
