The Country Squire Semitone Special features a two-piece centre-jointed American alder body with alder top, Canadian hard rock maple neck and maple fingerboard, all to give the guitar a great superior tone. This guitar comes in an Ash Green Sunburst colour.

Quality Build

With its extended tenon neck/body join and chambered semi-acoustic body, these characteristics pair together nicely to add an airy lightness to the guitar's feel and voice. The Semitone Special's gently offset body, with sculpted heel and slim horn, gives superb balance and enhanced access to the upper frets.

Wilkinson WTB Bridge

The Wilkinson WTB bridge has a noticeable stamped cold roll steel baseplate, surrounding and enhancing the magnetic field of the alnico V loaded bridge pickup. You can ensure authentic tone and accurate tuning thanks to the adjustable, pre-intonated barrel style natural brass saddles. Maximum mechanical couple is also insured as two strings per saddle solidly anchor the saddles to the bridge baseplate. This is of course important to providing you all the power you need.

Pickups and Vari-Coil

With the flat pole piece WVOTB bridge pickup, you can play with authentic vintage '52 'Nashville Snap'. Or flick the switch to explore 'out of phase' sounds. The Wilkinson Vari-coil control adds so much to the guitar as well. Switch between the WVOBT, the classic voiced middle single coil, and staggered pole piece neck humbucker, go from mellow full-bodied jazz to a creamy, focused bridge single coil sound with enhanced mids and increased power.
