The Classic Les Paul Style

The Gibson Classic features the iconic Les Paul body style crafted from lightweight mahogany, delivering a stunning guitar with beautifully sweet, warm tonal characteristics. The single-cutaway design provides incredible access to the upper frets, while its smooth construction ensures players receive a comfortable performance. The mahogany is topped with maple and given a sophisticated ebony finish, creating a smooth, dark aesthetic which reflects is powerfully deep tones.

Slim Taper Mahogany Neck

The Gibson Guitar not only offers a comfortable body, but features a slim tapered neck profile to deliver an incredibly comfortable performance. The mahogany neck provides the ultimate comfort with its slim profile, and allows for fast and comfortable soloing. As well as providing fluid hand flexibility, the mahogany wood helps enhance the natural warmth of the body, creating a high-end saturated in sparkling sweetness and a thick low-end response. The addition of a rosewood fingerboard helps enhance the natural characteristics of the body, adding extra sparkle to the high end and opening up the midrange.

Classic P90 Pickups

The Gibson Classic is equipped with a set of beautiful P90 pickups, delivering the vintage single-coil tone that helped define blues and rock’n’roll. The pickups offer players a beautifully fat snarl, with plenty of crunch and bite to cut through any musical endeavour, while its bright characteristics gives the Gibson plenty of midrange presence for added thickness. Along with its amazing tonal sensitivity and classic soapbar covers, the P90s are wired with independent volume and tone controls and a toggle switch, allowing players to dial in the perfect tone for any setting. All four controls are hand-wired with orange drop capacitors, enhancing stability, precision, and offering an overall consistent tone.

ABR Bridge

The Classic Les Paul features a vintage ABR tune-o-matic bridge, offering incredible string stability and a truly comfortable performance. Its high-quality construction makes it extremely reliable, holding onto the string tension while maximising the transfer of vibrations for an enhanced sustain and a beautifully vintage tone. The bridge also offers quick and easy adjustments to the action, allowing you to set the perfect intonation for your playing style.

TekToid Nut

The addition of a TekToid graphite nut offers increased harmonics in the middle and upper frequency range, perfect for creating a rich and detailed tone. TekToid Graphite is the best high-tech cure for eliminating undesirable friction within the nut, which can cause tuning problems. It is the ideal choice for a guitar nut, as it has excellent conductive qualities which overall benefit a guitar’s tone and sustain.
