Key Features

For those classic tones, this Les Paul is loaded with a pair of Burstbucker pickups at the bridge and neck. Gibson Burstbuckers were designed to deliver those vintage PAF tones, yet within a modern pickup. The 61 Burstbuckers had their wiring offset reversed to provide enhanced balance between the two coils. The pickups also have a Zebra appearance which began in the 50s when a Gibson supplier ran out of black pigment and used the cream coils too. This then became a new feature due to its unique and attractive appearance.
The Les Paul first entered the world in the early 1940s, when the legendary guitarist created the world's first solid body electric guitar that was known back then as 'The Log'. The Les Paul Classic's body is crafted from lightweight mahogany, delivering beautifully rich, warm tonal characteristics. The single-cutaway design provides incredible access to the upper frets, while its smooth construction ensures players receive a comfortable performance.
This Les Paul not only offers a comfortable body, but also features a Slim Taper neck profile to deliver an incredibly comfortable performance. The mahogany neck provides the ultimate comfort with its thin profile, and it allows for speedy and comfortable soloing. As well as providing fluid hand flexibility, the mahogany wood helps enhance the natural warmth of the body. The addition of a rosewood fingerboard adds extra sparkle to the high end.
The addition of a TekToid graphite nut offers increased harmonics in the middle and upper frequency range, perfect for creating a rich and detailed tone. TekToid Graphite is the best high-tech cure for eliminating undesirable friction within the nut, which can cause tuning problems. It is the ideal choice for a guitar nut, as it has excellent conductive qualities which overall benefit a guitar's tone and sustain.
The Les Paul Classic provides a stable and reliable tone with Gibson and Grover hardware. There is a vintage ABR Tune-O-Matic bridge, offering incredible string stability and a truly comfortable performance. Its high-quality construction holds onto the string tension while maximising the transfer of vibrations for an enhanced sustain. There are also Grover Rotomatic tuners on-board that keep your tone in tune throughout the night.
