Stunning AA Grade Maple Top

The Gibson Les Paul Traditional Guitar is manufactured with a mahogany body, along with an AA grade flamed maple top. The use of maple provides a tiger stripe effect, which is beautifully recognisable throughout the heritage cherry sunburst finish. This iconic guitar is also trimmed in retro cream binding along the edge, which breaks up the solid block colour to create a vintage style.

Rounded Neck Profile For a Smooth Play

As well as offering a comfortable lightweight mahogany body, the Les Paul Traditional also features a mahogany neck with a rounded profile. This type of neck offers the ultimate comfort, and allows for a smooth play. As well as providing fluid hand flexibility, the mahogany wood helps enhance the natural warmth of the body, creating a high-end saturated in sparkling sweetness and a thick low-end response. The addition of a rosewood fingerboard helps enhance the natural characteristics of the body, adding extra sparkle to the high end and opening up the midrange.

Burstbucker 1 & 2 Humbuckers

The Les Paul Traditional is equipped with a set of powerful BurstBucker pickups, with the low output BB1 at the neck and the medium output BB2 at the bridge. The BurstBucker pickups are designed to recapture the magic of the original PAF humbuckers, delivering an incredibly powerful and sweet tone to the modern guitarist. Independent volume and tone controls provide players with excellent tone shaping capabilities, while the toggle switch provides quick and easy changes between pickup configurations. All four controls are hand-wired with orange drop capacitors, providing incredible stability, precision, and an overall consistent tone.

ABR Bridge

The Traditional Les Paul features the vintage ABR tune-o-matic bridge, offering incredible string stability and a truly comfortable performance. Its high-quality construction makes it extremely reliable, holding onto the string tension while providing the maximum transfer of vibrations for an enhanced sustain and a beautifully vintage tone. The bridge also offers quick and easy adjustments to the action, allowing you to set the perfect intonation for your playing style.

TekToid Nut

The addition of a TekToid graphite nut offers increased harmonics in the middle and upper frequency range, perfect for creating a rich and detailed tone. TekToid graphite is the best high-tech cure for eliminating undesirable friction within the nut, which can cause tuning problems. It is the ideal choice for a guitar nut, as it has excellent conductive qualities which overall benefit a guitar’s tone and sustain.
