Limited Edition Classic

The Gibson SG Limited Edition Extra Slim features a distinctive double cutaway, grade-A lightweight mahogany body with beveled edges to enhance playing comfort. A mahogany neck with an extra slim profile provides smooth, fast action while delivering solid feeling and stability. 22 medium-jumbo frets sit on a grade-A rosewood fingerboard which includes traditional trapezoid inlays. A smaller vintage style headstock features traditional vintage tulip tuners, a classic mother of pearl Gibson logo plus a holly inlay.

Quality Build

The SG Extra Slim features dual '57 classic humbuckers which use genuine Alnico II bar magnets and are wound with 42-AWG enamel-coated wire for a characteristic blend of warmth and creaminess. The traditional wiring complement of an independent volume and tone control per pickup plus a three-way toggle selector switch allows a broad range of sonic variations and customisation. A high quality tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece provide secure string placement and help channel sound through the mahogany body.
