The Greg Bennett AB-2 is a 4 string jumbo cutaway electro acoustic bass which features a Mahogany body with Spruce top and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. With a Rosewood bridge, PPS saddle, diecast tuners and Clearwave10 electronics the AB-2 can be connected to amps and PA systems and also includes an on board tuner.

Mahogany Body & Spruce Top

Constructed from a Mahogany body and neck the Greg Bennett AB-2 offers an extremely resonant sound with plenty of body and depth. Producing a quick response Mahogany is a fairly dense wood which delivers warm and deep low response whilst retaining clarity in the mid-range and rounded highs. Paired with a stylish solid Spruce top to enhance the articulation in the high response and provide a bright and quick attack the AB-2 delivers a unique and versatile tone ideal for a range of genres.

Rosewood Fretboard

With a 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard optimized for a smooth and quick playability the Greg Bennett AB-2 Electro Acoustic Bass also employs a 12 inch fretboard radius which provides easy access and fluid playability at both the higher and lower frets.

Clearwave 10 Electronics

Incorporating a Clearwave 10 preamp system the AB-2 Electro Acoustic can be connected to amplifiers and PA systems to produce a rich, powerful and dynamic tone. Also featuring an on board tuner with LED indicators and tone controls the Clearwave 10 is the perfect way to stay in tune and connect to amplifiers for live performances.
