The Gretsch G5420T Electromatic hollow body electric guitar has at its heart a pair of dynamic new "Black Top" Filter'Tron™ pickups, giving it an electrifying new voice and identity. They are based on a Baldwin-era Filter'Tron pickup with knockout punch and phenomenal twang. The bound single-cutaway hollow body has sound-post bracing and elegant bound f-holes, and is finished in a gloss Sunburst.

View Full DescriptionThe G5420T features a maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and hump-block pearloid inlays. The rosewood-based Adjusto-Matic™ bridge and Bigsby®-licensed B60 vibrato tailpiece offer a great, resonant sound, and the vintage look is completed by the classic "G" arrow control knobs and vintage-style open-back tuners.
