Limited Edition Hollow Body

The Gretsch Electromatic Hollow Body delivers the classic Gretsch rock and roll tone. Rich, full and deep with heaps of resonance, this big-body sound retains tonal clarity and acoustic nuance despite its power. This tone is matched by retro styling - thumbnail inlays, large bound F-holes and late 50s bound headstock. This limited edition also features gold hardware and a bold Candy Apple Red finish.

Gretsch Electromatic

The Gretsch Electromatic series provides pure, real Gretsch tone for an affordable price. This is the step-up model after the entry-level Streamliner and has extra touches in both style and substance that are bold, dynamic and articulate. These guitars are the perfect example of why so many musicians are proud to own a Gretsch.

Maple Body

The G5420TG features a 5-ply maple body for a bright, responsive tone. This Electromatic has a classic single cut body for easy access to the higher frets. Aged white binding completes the retro look.

Maple Neck With Rosewood Fingerboard

This limited edition Electromatic features a maple neck with a gloss finish and a standard U neck shape. It's finished with aged white binding and pearloid New-Classic thumbnail inlays. A rosewood fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and 12" radius provides a deep, resonance and smooth playability. It's finished with a Graph Tech® NuBone™ and an early 50s Gretsch headstock.

Blacktop Filter'Tron™ Pickups

The Blacktop Filter'Tron™ pickups provide the punch and ring behind this beautiful guitar. This beloved pickup is key to the recognisable Gretsch tone and is becoming more and more popular. The Filter’Trons are well-known for providing the warm humbucking tone of a PAF and the brightness and clarity of a single coil. The Filter’Tron has a beautiful jazz sound without the muddiness that a PAF sometimes exhibits. When slightly overdriven, it is the classic sound of rockabilly. The guitar also has versatile, upgraded controls including a master volume treble-bleed circuit.

Bigsby B60 Vibrato Tailpiece

This limited edition G5420TG is finished with gold hardware, a Cherry Apple Red finish and a Bigsby® B60 vibrato tailpiece..
