Full Description

The mahogany body on the EGEN18 has an attractive flamed maple top, and a deeper cut horn with a unique scoop cutaway modeled using Herman's hand to allow easier access to the higher frets from all angles.

The five-piece maple and walnut neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets. The upper frets are scalloped, Herman Li's own touch, allowing for easier high note bending and tapping, and all the frets have the Prestige fret edge treatment for fast, comfortable playing. The abalone oval inlays are a final attractive touch.

The guitar features a custom DiMarzio® pickup set with a low-profile setting in the middle pickup position so as not to get in the way of heavy rhythm down strokes. A vast array of tone options are available thanks to the coil tap switching on the volume knob.

Other features include an Edge-Zero bridge with the Zero Point tremolo system, giving unprecedented tuning stability however hard you bend the strings, and a hardshell case to protect your guitar on the road.
