The two Dynamix pick-ups featured on the neck and the bridge work in conjunction with the Phat II EQ to deliver a warm yet powerful low-end sound, creating the perfect balance between the EQ'd tone and the original punchy bass sound. The pickups provide a fat, punchy sound which sit nicely in the mix, delivering plenty of warmth and bite, perfect for a wide range of musical styles.
Incorporating individual volume controls for each pickup, the GSR205B allows you to blend both pickup tones to create unique full sounds. The master tone control shapes the bass’ frequency response, letting you dial in your own desired preference. Additionally, the built-in PHAT-II EQ circuitry allows active style bass boosting via its one channel EQ preamp, deliver a beefy and deep tone for when you need to add an extra layer of thunder.
