Multi Scale Versatility

The RGIM8MH features angled frets which ergonomically coordinate with the way the player's hand pivots as it moves up and down the neck, for quick and comfortable playability. The multi scale construction offers both short scale and long scale in one neck, allowing players to achieve immense tonal possibilities.

Nitro Wizard Neck For Fast Solos

The use of Ibanez's own Nitro Wizard neck provides an extremely playable guitar that is ideal for lead guitarists. The thin nature of this thinner neck helps to perform swift and nimble guitar runs seamlessly whilst retaining enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords. Crafted from 5-piece maple and bubinga, the guitar's neck provides iron-like strength for enhanced neck stability and a longer sustain.

EMG 909 Pickups

The RGIM8MH Multi Scale 8 String Electric Guitar has been designed with the metal guitarist in mind, and features a duo of EMG 909 pickups, which are especially made for 8 string guitars. The EMG 909 pickups eliminate the common problem of a muddy low B string, that lack rich harmonic character. Manufactured with an alnico V magnet and wide aperture coils, the EMG 909 offers an enhanced low B string, whilst still delivering a balanced tone. This powerful duo of 909 pickups are highly responsive, with a super tight growl, perfect for down tuning.
