Key Features
The SR series of bass guitars from Ibanez are well known for their smooth, fast necks, lightweight bodies and perfectly matched electronics. The SR300 is affordable as well as playable, with an agathis body finished in a stunning Deep Violet Metallic and carefully balanced humbucking pickups that give the bass a punchy quality.
Product Ref: 36471
The SR300 has a five-piece maple and rosewood neck and a rosewood fingerboard with 24 medium frets and white dot position inlays.
The CAP EXF-N2 humbucking pickups have a special arched design that means every string is set at an equal distance to the pickup. This gives a balanced volume output, while the high quality shielding eliminates any unwanted noise. Control over your tone is provided by the EQB-IIID three-band EQ, which is notable for having the boost and cut of the Mid Control centred on slightly different frequencies. This gives a preset range of the most favourable bass tones, making it easy to find a great sound.
The bass has an Accu-cast B120 bridge, with extra-wide string slots to accommodate even the heaviest of gauges. The saddles are trapped by the walls and channels of the new bridge plate, giving perfect directional uniformity.
