A Redefined Chorus Pedal

The Chorus Pedal from Keeley offers a completely new type of Chorus, one that would normally only be available on expensive DAWs or in studios. The pedal features Keeley’s true chorus and vibrato, along with a double tracker with reverb. The pedal also features an internal switch for changing the pedal to bass mode, providing voices and modes for bass guitar, including a flanger and tremolo. With another internal switch for activating vintage mode, the seafoam chorus plus offers the best of Keeley engineering.

Multiple Chorus Modes

The pedal features six different modes to choose from; an automatic doubling tracker, a seafoam chorus, and a duel chorus when the pedal is in normal mode. When switched to bass mode, the pedal offers a bass flanger, seafoam bass chorus, and a dual bass chorus. In ADT mode, the pedal produces the same double tracker that is featured in the Keeley 30ms pedal, creating a second and third voice that are at different times and pitches to create a choir effect. When switched to Bass, this mode offers a flanger effect instead.

The seafoam chorus mode produces a lush, wide chorus with a musical vibrato, simulating the sounds and tones of a vintage BBD analogue chorus unit. Also featuring an LFO, the pedal creates classic tones that can be adjusted to produce tones from bright to warm, or even a spacious chorus. In Bass mode, the seafoam chorus becomes a seafoam bass chorus, operating on a lower frequency to suit bass guitars.

Keeley’s dual chorus mode features a frequency crossed-based dual-chorus engine that can control the depth of the chorus’ highs and lows independently. In this mode you can create a deep, throbbing chorus on the low end whilst the top stays calm, or have the highs shimmer and weave whilst the low end stays fixed. When switched to bass, this mode becomes a dual bass chorus that provides a chorus on the top end with a pounding tremolo on the low end.

The Seafoam Plus Chorus pedal features three control knobs for adjusting the tone of the pedal’s effects, with each mode bringing a different set of controls.
