JMD:1 Digital Meets Valve

The Marshall JMD50 is part of the JMD:1 range - mixing a digital preamp, classic all valve power amp and a studio quality multi effects unit. This gives you access to a huge range of classic Marshall tones. The Marshall team gathered their collection of killer sounds from the Marshall Amplification museum.

The JMD:1 Amps were developed in conjunction with Softube. These Swedish developers used complex technology and refined algorithms to create a pre-amp that generated high definition tones that both sound and feel natural. These Marshall amps have exclusive use of this patented technology.

Stage or Studio

The Marshall JMD50 delivers a variety of amplifier topologies in full high definition using exclusive technology. The JDM50 is loaded with 16 possible preamplifier variants, onboard modulation, noise gate, delay and reverb sections and has the ability to silently record through an emulated output, play through headphones or along with your MP3 player.

Not only can the JMD50 perform on a stage but because of all of these features the Marshall JMD50 also excels in a studio or home recording environment as well. The Marshall JMD50 also ships with a 6-way footswitch, featuring the ability to store 28 presets amongst other features.

Powerful Celestion Speakers

The MX212, 2 x 12" cab is the perfect companion for the JMD50. It is compatible with most Marshall heads, or as an extension cab for a 2 x 12" combo, adding great flexibility to your setup. This mono cab is covered with Marshall Tolex, featuring the iconic Marshall baffle logo and packed with Celestion Seventy 80 speakers.
