Sapele

The DJR2A acoustic guitar uses Sapele as the foundation for the top, back and sides. Similar in appearance and tone to Mahogany, Sapele exhibits a powerful midrange, great punch and bright and airy trebles, providing your guitar with a beautiful sound. The use of Sapele also delivers a tonal output that is consistent and balanced across the tonal spectrum, making it compatible with a diverse range of playing styles. Another remarkable feature of Sapele is that the grain is interlocked and changes direction in frequent, irregular intervals, giving you a overall stunning instrument.

Richlite Fingerboard and Bridge

The use of Richlite is slowly becoming a common material for guitar fingerboards. A recycled resin compound it gives a tone that's nearly identical to Ebony, its fast, smooth but unlike wood doesn't require any treatment or conditioning. The matching bridge provides a matching aesthetic appeal as well as adding to the overall sound.
