The Milwaukee Bass is constructed of quality selected tonewoods. Made from Paulownia, an attractive, lightweight yet sturdy wood, the Milwaukee has a fantastic sustain and tone. Finished in a natural gloss to show off the grain of the wood, the body is complimented by a bolt on neck, made of select Maple, further accentuating the sustain of the instrument. Rather than the Rosewood normally found on fretboards at this price point, the Milwaukee has a Maple fretboard, giving not only a great feel, but also a certain snappiness to the tone. Finished with block inlays, a vintage look scratchplate, and classic machine heads, this bass really looks stunning.
The Milwaukee Bass is a fantastic all-rounder. Equipped with both a single coil and a humbucker pickup, this guitar is capable of producing an array of bass tones. The single coil pickup gives a bright, forward, punchy sound, and the humbucker gives a big round bassy sound. A perfect combination can be found through the individual volume controls for each pickup, and an overall tone for the combined pickups, making this a truly is a versatile bass, suitable for almost all style of music.
Featuring an array of professional features, as well as stunning looks, the BP80 amp works great at home, on stage or in the studio. With 80W RMS, it is big enough for small gigs and practices, but small enough too keep out of the way in a domestic environment. The custom red 12" speaker has been specially designed not just to look great, but also to sound great and perform under the toughest of conditions. It combines the direct sound more associated with smaller speakers, with the warmth found with larger speakers, to provide great all-round tone.
The BP80 has a focus on sound and tone. It features a gain control, as well as a master volume, as well as a 4-band EQ, which means you will always be able to drive the right sound out of the 12" speaker, whatever bass you have and whatever style you are playing. Also included is a built in Chorus effect with a click off and level control. This can be used in moderation to broaden the sound a little, or be turned right up for a full blown 80's sound.
