Key Features
The Numark Orbit wireless handheld DJ performance controller is a DJ controller with a twist. This customisable, live-performance oriented controller is made to be held in your hands, strapped to your body using its built-in clip, or placed on the table! Go wired or wireless with the Numark Orbit! The Orbit's game-controller style design is extremely ergonomic, but it also boasts a great amount of control and is tailor-made for live performance. You can use the Orbit wired via the included USB cable, which also charges it (Rechargeable lithium-ion battery), or you can give yourself the freedom of going wireless, using 2.4 GHz ultra-low-latency connectivity.
Product Ref: 33243
The Numark Orbit has 4 selectable banks of 16 backlit pads, 8 on each side, for you to add and blend effects, launch cues and samples, and more.
In the middle there are 4 bank selection buttons, 4 virtual knobs, and a large aluminium-faced touch-sensitive control wheel, which controls the selected virtual knob for instantly tweaking effects and filters.
You'll be surprised to know that the live-performance-focussed design of the Orbit even extends to the inside of the device. Inside is an embedded 2-axis accelerometer, which can be assigned to 2 different parameters per bank and activated instantly via 2 shoulder buttons.
You can map all of Orbit's controls, so you're able to customise settings for effects control, transport control, volume control, or any other MIDI parameter.
