Schecter's Blackjack ATX is a well-balanced guitar from aggressive crunchy sounds to rich, clean tones, perfect for the modern day player. The Mahogany’s arched top provides a great resonance, enhancing the natural tones of the body wood. The Mahogany body offers naturally warm tones, with a touch of bite for creating tights lows and appealing highs. With crème binding, black chrome hardware, and a Hipshot bridge, the ATX is given an aged black finish to create a stunning guitar that reflects the tones it can produce.
The 3-piece Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard has been designed with a thin "C" shape for a smooth, fast play. The Mahogany/Ebony combination produces tight, warm tones that are defined and open with a fast attack. The two woods provide the guitars sound with a muscular, controlled bass and snappy, sizzling highs. It also comes with many other features including Schecter locking machine heads and glow in the dark side dots.
Feature two powerful humbuckers form Seymour Duncan know as BlackOuts, the Schecter Blackjack can produce warm, complex chording and singling leads. The neck pickup uses alnico 5 magnets to produce an extended frequency range, giving the guitar an organic feel that’s very responsive and lets the guitars natural tone shine through. The bridge pickup uses ceramic magnets to produce a powerful tone with a full bodied punch. Its high output level provides an organic feel with an open tonal response, allowing the guitars characteristics to be apparent in the overall tonality.
