The Schecter Omen-6 is a modern guitar with every specification being focused on exceptional playability and rock-solid tones. The Omen has Schecter's own Diamond Plus humbuckers for powerful sounds and versatility, and a fast playing neck with 24 extra-jumbo frets. With a fixed bridge and string thru body design, the Omen-6 is a resonant and stable instrument that will provide a solid platform for your performances.

Diamond Active Pickups

The Schecter Diamond Active humbuckers are powerful units geared towards rock and metal performance. They provide excellent sustain and focus and are ideal for liquid smooth high-octane soloing and powerful articulation in low-end riffing. The pickups have a 3-way switch for a versatile range of sounds and are mounted to a basswood body which is known for its versatile tonality with excellent sustain.

Fast Neck Specification

The Omen-6 has a neck specification aimed squarely at high performance. The neck itself is very thin with a shallow "C" profile. It sits comfortably in the hand and is mounted to the body with a low-profile bolt-on joint. When combined with the asymmetric double cutaway body, the Omen-6's neck will disappear under your fingers as you effortlessly glide along its whole length.

The fingerboard is crafted with a modern flat 14'' radius for easy playing feel and the capability of enabling a low-action string setup. The neck is mounted with 24 frets; they are extra-large and give a fantastic grip on the strings for easy bends and vibrato.

Resonant Tonewoods

The Omen-6 has a basswood body, known for its well-balanced tonality and range of sounds. Basswood is a lightweight tonewood, meaning the Omen-6 will still feel comfortable after long sessions playing stood up. The neck is made from bright-sounding maple with a smooth rosewood fingerboard. The Omen's resonant tonewoods will deliver an assertive tone with plenty of sustain.

Stable Hardware

The Omen-6 has additional design touches for professional performance. The Tune-O-Matic bridge has a string thru body design which gives increased sustain, resonance and enhanced tuning stability due to its lack of moving parts. The Schecter tuners assist with quick and accurate tuning, while the black chrome hardware provides a serious aesthetic. The stable nature of this fixed-bridge guitar makes it ideal for down-tuning, or for use as a reliable all-round high-performance instrument.
