With a set of Schecter’s Diamond pickups, the Stiletto becomes an incredibly versatile instrument, offing a wide tonal range that can play anything from jazz and blues, to hard rock and metal. Designed with ceramic magnets, the Diamond pickups produce a thick, punchy tone that pushes out the fatter bass tones of the wood. With its dual-coil design, the pickups offer low noise, high output, and a powerful low end. This Schecter also features a 2-band EQ with controls over the bass and treble, allowing the bass to be shaped to best suit your playing style
The Stiletto Deluxe Bass features a lightweight basswood body, delivering a well-balanced, fat tone with plenty of grind to create an incredibly versatile performance. The bass’ body is designed to produce incredible dynamics and plenty of definition, with a muscular midrange that has a touch of softness to it, giving the bass’ tone a slight breathiness. Its stable diamond bass bridge enhances the string's stability, improving the bass’ overall tonality and sustain.
The maple neck and rosewood fingerboard feature a thin "C" profile, delivering a fast performance with an incredibly comfortable play. The maple wood provides this bass with bright characteristics, creating a snappy attack in the midrange and a sizzling high end. When the strings are played hard, the wood adds more punch to the tone, and light or medium picking delivers extra clarity. Adding a rosewood fingerboard helps create a warmer and softer tone, with sparkling high end and a thick low end. Schecter tuners and a Graph Tech tusq nut are also included to improve string stability and enhance resonance and sustain.
